Job description: In this role, you will work within the Aero Development Team, using advanced techniques to enhance aerodynamic performance. Your tasks will include analyzing CFD and wind tunnel data, fostering innovation, and contributing to the design and development process. We encourage team members to challenge norms and share ideas to drive our shared success.

What you will be doing:

• Analyze CFD and wind tunnel data to deliver aerodynamic performance improvements.
• Develop an understanding of aerodynamic structures and behaviors around the race car.
• Collaborate with management to develop and communicate aerodynamic development plans.
• Propose and implement new methods to improve efficiency in aerodynamic design, testing, and analysis.
• Participate in discussions to enhance whole-car performance, sharing ideas and feedback.
• Report key findings, opportunities, and risks to the Lead Engineer.
• Travel may be required occasionally.

Requirements:

• Degree in Aerodynamics, Aeronautics, or related field.
• Several years of relevant experience, preferably in motorsport.
• Strong knowledge of Formula One Technical Regulations.
• Expertise in CFD methods and data analysis.
• Experience leading and managing aerodynamic projects.
• Proven ability to plan and execute development projects against targets.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (preferably 3DExperience/CATIA).
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal errors.
• Effective team management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including MS Office suite.
