Avalara is looking for a capable AEM Front-End Developer to join our Adobe Engineering & Reliability team. You’ll contribute to reusable, accessible components in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites) that support Avalara’s global digital marketing efforts.

You’ll work on a dedicated team focused on building and maintaining a shared component library used across our marketing websites. You’ll apply your front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTL, and gain experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
4–5 years of progressive engineering experience with CMS and web front-end frameworks.

Responsibilities

Implement front-end components in Adobe Experience Manager using HTL and standard web tech.
Collaborate with UX, design, and QA to deliver accessible, responsive experiences.
Contribute to the AEM component library with reusable, performant components.
Integrate AEM components with Adobe Analytics & Target for tracking and personalization.
Participate in Agile development: planning, standups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
Follow best practices for code quality, accessibility (WCAG), and test coverage.
Work with deployment tools via AEM Cloud Manager and environment promotion.
