Job summary

Cognizant seeks an experienced Senior AEM Architect to design, govern, and deliver enterprise-scale AEM Sites and Forms solutions for global clients. You will drive end-to-end architectures, ensure security and performance, and align technology outcomes with business value.

You will lead both onshore and offshore teams, guide CI/CD, upgrades, and automated testing, and collaborate with product, UX/UI, and IT stakeholders to translate complex objectives into scalable implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• 7+ years of progressive software development experience with 4+ years focused on AEM Sites/Forms delivery.
• Proven experience as a technical lead or senior architect on enterprise web applications.
• Adobe Certified Expert/Master – AEM Developer or Architect certification.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deliver end-to-end AEM Sites and Forms solutions aligned with scalability, security, and performance standards.
• Provide hands-on guidance, technical direction, and code reviews for onshore and offshore teams; enforce CI/CD and best practices.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs, OSGi bundles, and Sling services connecting AEM with CRM, ERP, and marketing platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Marketing, and IT Architects to translate business objectives into scalable execution plans.
• Drive platform upgrades (AEM Cloud Service / AEM 6.5), refactoring, performance tuning, and automated testing.
