Job summary

Capgemini in New York City seeks an experienced AEM Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust backend solutions on the Adobe Experience Manager platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable web applications and improve customer experiences.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years’ AEM experience, strong Java/Sling/OSGi/JCR skills, and hands-on AWS integration, with prior agency or corporate marketing exposure. This full-time role is on-site in NYC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an AEM Developer on AEM 6.5 and related tech.
• Expertise in AEM stack: Modules, Granite, Sling, OSGi, JCR.
• Strong Java development with JDK 1.8+ and RESTful integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and services.
• Implement workflows, JCR queries, and external integrations.
• Customize AEM functionalities to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with frontend, architects, and QA to deliver quality.
• Optimize performance and ensure code quality via tests and reviews.
• Support deployments, troubleshoot issues in prod and dev.
• Stay updated on AEM/Adobe Cloud and suggest improvements.
