The City of New York invites applications for a Senior Advisor position within the Office of Talent and Workforce Development. You will guide talent and workforce priorities, supervise staff, and coordinate with city agencies to advance workforce programs and equitable job access.

You’ll engage with senior leadership, manage multi-agency initiatives, and support funding through public grants and partnerships to strengthen NYC’s workforce ecosystem.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 8+ years in government, non-profit sector, education, human resources, or intergovernmental affairs, with at least three years in a managerial capacity.
• 10+ years of related work experience, with at least three years in a managerial capacity.
• Master’s degree in Public Administration, or a related field, preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serve as Senior Advisor to the Executive Director and other leaders on talent and workforce priorities, vision, goals, and programs.
• Supervise internal staff responsible for key programs serving priority populations and workforce goals.
• Convene agency partners to support workforce development initiatives and RFPs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align program priorities across NYC Talent.
• Advise on career pathways development and resource sharing to support WIOA programs.
