Overview

Join Forsyth Health’s Data & Analytics team to help Pharma/Life Science organizations uncover patient and market insights. We focus on data management, business intelligence, and advanced analytics to support functions like market access and patient support programs.

How you'll make a difference:

The Sr. Advisor, Real World Data is a key role supporting a complex area within healthcare data and analytics. As a strong individual contributor, you will lead client engagements, define and communicate insights for Commercial, Market Access, HEOR, and Evidence Generation functions. Responsibilities include leading Outcomes Research studies, developing advanced analytics and ML models, and supporting stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with Sales and Technology teams, translating needs into actionable insights.

Role Summary:

This role offers leadership on complex analytics projects, setting and executing visions for embedded analytics to achieve Forsyth Health’s growth goals. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop RWD analytics solutions, leveraging advanced technologies and embedding analytics-driven processes.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Query various data types (claims, EMR, labs, chargemaster) using SQL to identify populations and perform data investigations.
2. Assist clients in generating RWE through observational research and feasibility analyses.
3. Provide training and guidance on RWD and analytics use cases post-sale.
4. Develop and communicate technical and operational specifications to teams.
5. Support operational processes for data licensing projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
6. Create reports and analytic solutions to support sales and business stakeholders, combining business knowledge with technical skills.
7. Collaborate with matrix partners to develop best practices and address complex issues.
8. Manage multiple projects, negotiating timelines and priorities with stakeholders.
9. Visualize data using BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Thoughtspot, or Looker.
10. Extract and analyze large healthcare claims data using tools like SAS, SQL, Python, R, Teradata, Hadoop, etc.

Qualifications:

1. BS/MS/PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Epidemiology, Statistics).
2. Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL and large relational databases.
3. Expertise in healthcare data types and standards (ICD, CPT, LOINC, etc.).
4. Experience applying RWD to healthcare research questions.
5. Strong communication skills for technical and clinical data.
6. Knowledge of healthcare data (claims, EMR, billing) and statistical analysis.
7. Experience with statistical software and programming languages (SQL, SAS, R, Python).
8. Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
9. Data-driven mindset with curiosity and motivation.
