Precise Systems is seeking a Senior Advisor to support a U.S. Navy customer, delivering readiness and sustainment services to improve operational availability while controlling costs. The role uses data-driven operating models across operations, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, manpower/training, and financial management.

The ideal candidate brings fifteen years of related experience, with twelve in readiness and strategic planning, and holds an active DoD clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of related experience; twelve (12) years in readiness and strategic planning.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Prior military experience as a Commissioned Officer may be favorable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor to the Government and provide support to the customer on program/project operations.
• Determine adequacy and acceptability of evolving program/project plans and change management strategies.
• Apply knowledge of business management, organizational structures, and information management to form long- and short-term management plans.
• Analyze in-place business, operational, and financial processes and management relationships.
• Identify and recommend programmatic approaches to redefine and improve current practices.
• Develop program/project plans, guidelines, and controls.
• Perform tasks requiring practical experience and advanced technical knowledge in a specialty area.
• Demonstrate broad expertise to support maintenance & supply chain management and total force management.

Position Overview

Precise Systems is hiring an Advisor, Senior to support a U.S. Navy customer. This program provides readiness and sustainment support to improve operational availability and mission effectiveness while controlling cost and optimizing constrained resources. The role utilizes collaborative, data‑driven operating models that include end‑to‑end readiness ecosystems (operations, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, manpower/training, and financial management). AI‑enabled approaches are a desired element of the solution to improve speed, scale, and consistency of analysis and decision support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor to the Government and provide support to the customer on program/project operations.
• Determine the adequacy and acceptability of evolving program/project plans and change management strategies, and mold processes and operations to improve the customer business methodology.
• Apply knowledge of business management principles, organizational structures, and information management techniques to formulate long‑ and short‑term management plans designed to achieve the outcomes desired by the organization.
• Analyze in‑place business, operational, and financial processes and management relationships.
• Identify and recommend programmatic approaches to re‑define, plan, organize, design, develop, and modify current practices and processes.
• Develop program/project plans, guidelines, and controls.
• Perform tasks that require both practical experience and theoretical, state‑of‑the‑art, technical knowledge in a specialty area.
• Demonstrate a broad scope of expertise sufficient to support an entire domain of client operations—maintenance & supply chain management, total force management.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent specialized experience. Allowable substitution: Six years of additional related work experience.

Required Experience

• Fifteen (15) years of related experience; of those, twelve (12) years must be direct experience in the following concentration areas:
  • Readiness (TMS): Supports the generation of readiness for CVNs or TMSs. Working knowledge of the training and provider processes that generate PESTO readiness.
  • Strategic Planning: Supports common strategic planning models and their applications. Working knowledge of strategic planning processes/disciplines in use across organizations in corporate/industry and military.
• Prior military experience as a Commissioned Officer and/or senior‑level DoD government experience (GS14‑15, O5‑O6) may be considered favorably.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
