Job summary

DCS Corp seeks a Senior Advisor to serve as a strategic, technical, and operational expert supporting NAVFAC EXWC’s multidisciplinary missions. You will influence mission‑critical decisions by guiding program teams and government stakeholders in DoD standards, cybersecurity, and system integration.

This high‑visibility role requires 12+ years in DoD S&T, with deep experience in prototyping, ISR, UxV, and naval engineering.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI highly preferred due to classified work in Ventura County.
• 12 years of senior‑level experience in DoD S&T, RDT&E, systems engineering, prototyping, ISR, or naval exp.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, CS, or related field; master’s preferred.
• Deep knowledge of ES&C engineering, prototyping, cyber integration, modeling & simulation, ISR interoperability.
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition docs, MIL STDs, DFARS, DIACAP/RMF, and CMMC requirements.
• Strong advisory and communication skills with ability to distill complex info for senior leaders.
• Ability to influence and guide teams without direct managerial authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level advisory across RDT&E, engineering, cyber, ISR, modeling & sim, and unmanned systems.
• Review analyses, prototypes, and test results for mission alignment with PWS.
• Guide system architecture, tech insertion, and operational integration.
• Advise on cyber resiliency, interoperability, and network performance.
• Interpret test data, marine surveys, and UxV results for decision making.
• Develop training standards and training packages for transition to operations.
• Oversee compliance with CMMC Level 2, clearances, and export controls.
• Review transition plans and advise on continuity and knowledge transfer.
