Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking an Advisor, Senior to support a U.S. Navy customer. The program provides readiness and sustainment support to improve operational availability and mission effectiveness while controlling cost and optimizing constrained resources.

This position is contingent upon award to Precise Systems, Inc., and requires an Active DoD Secret or higher clearance and U.S. citizenship. The advisor will guide program operations across maintenance, supply chain, and total force management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field; six years of additional related work experience may be acceptable.
• Fifteen (15) years of related experience, with twelve (12) years in the concentration area MPTE.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher; U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor to the government and provide support to the customer on program and project operations.
• Determine the adequacy and acceptability of evolving program and project plans and change-management strategies, and mold processes and operations to improve the customer’s business methodology.
• Apply knowledge of business management principles, organizational structures, and information-management techniques to formulate short- and long-term management plans designed to achieve desired outcomes.
• Analyze in-place business, operational, and financial processes and management relationships.
• Identify and recommend programmatic approaches to re-define, plan, organize, design, develop, and modify current practices and processes.
• Develop program and project plans, guidelines, and controls.
• Perform tasks that require both practical experience and theoretical, state-of-the-art, technical knowledge in a specialty area.
• Demonstrate a broad scope of expertise sufficient to support an entire domain of client operations—including maintenance, supply chain management, and total force management.

• Experience: Fifteen (15) years of related experience, of which twelve (12) years must be direct experience in the concentration area: MPTE – supports applicable military and/or government and/or civilian contractor manpower, personnel, education and training field. Prior military experience as a Commissioned Officer and/or senior level DoD government experience (GS‑14 to GS‑15, O5 to O6) may be considered favorably.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
