Job summary

Obsidian Solutions Group is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support the MAGTF Staff Training program (MSTP) at Quantico, VA. The role provides SME support to examine MAGTF processes and draft improvements as an Observer, Trainer and Collector.

The position requires adjudicated TS clearance access and senior planning experience, with responsibility for developing operational-level MAGTF training and education.

Qualifications

• Requires adjudicated TS clearance and access up to TS/SCI.
• Senior staff planning experience in JPPT/MCWP.
• Experience applying the Intelligence Cycle and JPIP/JPTO processes at various levels.
• Completion of professional military education such as ILS/TLS.
• Knowledge of intelligence processes in ground combat and aviation environments.
• Knowledge of military doctrine and command relationships at operational levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and deliver MAGTF-focused instruction, training and education.

MAGTF/Senior Advisor Group - Intelligence Analyst

Primary Location: Quantico, VA

Must be a U.S Citizen

Security Clearance: Secret - Top Secret w/SCI eligibility

Specific Responsibilities

Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support the Marine Air Ground Task Force Staff Training program (MSTP), The Intelligence Analyst provides functional subject matter expertise to examine and assess MAGTF level organizations, identifies friction points, offer solutions, and draft procedures for improvement as an Observer, Trainer and Collector. Conduct observation by assessing MAGTF processes, reviewing operation orders and procedures. Plans, develops, coordinates and delivers operational-level, regionally focused MAGTF relevant instruction, training and education, Supports the Brigadier General Selection Orientation Course (BGSOC) Senior-Leader Seminars, the Marine Corp University (MCU), and other service schools. Captures relevant data and processes through observation, analyzes capture information, records findings in a final after-action report and final exercise evaluation report.

The mission of the MSTP is to: Train and Educate Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and Marine Expeditionary Brigades (MEB) Command Elements to conduct operations across the range of military operations, within the context of a Joint, Combined, or Coalition environment.

Requirements

Required Skills/Qualifications

Selected personnel will have an adjudicated TS clearance and access up to TS/SCI

Senior staff planning experience in the Joint Operations Planning Process and the Marine Corps Planning Process at the Marine Division, Wing, or MLG staff

Experience conducting tactical and operational level planning at the conceptual, functional, and detailed levels for service and functional component organizations, as well as joint headquarters organizations; capable of applying the Intelligence Cycle, Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace, and Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operating Environment processes.

Completion of an appropriate level of professional military education such as Intermediate/Top Level School (ILS/TLS)

Knowledge of, and operational experience, deploying and employing intelligence processes and procedures in support of ground combat, aviation, supporting arms, and combat service support units

Knowledge of, and operational experience, with military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the operational command level

Knowledge of command and control (C2) systems related to intelligence processes

Desired Skills/Qualifications

• Senior Level – Bachelor’s Degree, 5+ Years Direct Relevant Experience
• Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
