Senior Advisor, Fiscal Practice and Quality Improvement - Outsourced CFO

Part-time : 20 hours, nonexempt

CCSI seeks a talented Senior Advisor, Fiscal Practice and Quality Improvement - Outsourced CFO to contribute expertise in providing essential business services to provider organizations and customers. The Senior Advisor is a recognized subject matter expert knowledgeable about emerging trends in designing, delivering, and managing high-impact programs in financial management, fiscal model development, revenue cycle management, performance measurement, and the application of information technology and business intelligence tools to support customer goals. The role requires experience in leading or consulting on financial management and quality improvement functions for behavioral health, I/DD providers, community-based organizations, local governments, provider networks, managed care plans, and state agencies.

In this role, you will be:

  1. Partnering with senior/executive leaders and boards of customer organizations to provide consultation and technical assistance to strengthen fiscal practices, business intelligence, and data management for strategic decision-making.
  2. Advising on evolving policy, regulatory, and funding changes impacting organizational strategies and recommending adaptation approaches.
  3. Developing customized implementation plans aligned with organizational needs and culture.
  4. Using data and supporting data literacy to shape strategy, measure impact, and identify improvement opportunities.
  5. Leading the development and deployment of new content and delivery methods for practice change in behavioral health and human services.
  6. Contributing to proposal development and business expansion efforts.
  7. Serving as a subject matter expert across projects and within CCSI.
  8. Collaborating with team members and other experts to develop multidisciplinary solutions.
  9. Completing other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, Public Health, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience, with at least 15 years of leadership experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Understanding of behavioral health and human services markets, including program development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of managed care organizations, accountable care organizations, and independent practice associations.
  • Experience with electronic billing procedures.
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff to support growth and capacity building.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills, needs assessment, troubleshooting, solution development, and expectation management.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable with presentations to groups.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across NYS as needed.
