Qualifications

• Requires Master’s or Bachelor’s in a related field plus 2–4 years in Logistics, Supply Chain, Material/Product Planning, Buyer or related occupation.
• Experience with Production environment, Inventory turns, Fill Rate, and Lead time; cost analysis and optimization.
• Ability to develop business case recommendations for innovation initiatives and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support logistics planning to determine forecasted needs for suppliers and commodities.
• Leverage knowledge of commodity qualities, transportation options, risk management, and supply chain evaluation models.
• Help drive ideation sessions to generate cost savings ideas and follow up on ideas to implement.
• Conduct cost analysis and optimization synthesis into procurement product cost prediction.
• Assist with platform cost analysis by sub-system and by Design to X (DTX) category using product BOM.
• Review and align BOM results with business partners for phase preparation.
• Partake in post-mortem analysis and process updates to support new products.
• Track and monitor new technology development and support supplier integration with organization strategy.

Education

Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field
