Job summary

New Tech Metals is seeking an Advanced Welder / Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. You will produce complex welded assemblies using MIG, TIG, Spray-Arc, and Flux-Core processes across a range of materials, ensuring dimensional accuracy and customer-specific requirements.

The role requires interpretation of detailed drawings, proper fixture setup, and the ability to troubleshoot weld issues with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced welding experience with MIG, TIG, Spray-Arc, and Flux-Core processes.
• Ability to interpret detailed drawings and welding requirements.
• Experience welding with mild steel, high-strength steels, stainless steel, aluminum, and food-grade stainless steel.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced welding and fabrication of complex components, frames, assemblies, and finished products.
• Weld and fabricate using MIG, TIG, Spray-Arc, and Flux-Core on various materials and thicknesses.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, GD&T, specifications, and work instructions.
• Set up welding machines and fixtures to produce consistent, high-quality welds.
• Determine proper weld sequences and techniques to minimize distortion and maintain tolerances.
• Perform weld repairs and rework while preserving appearance and integrity.
• Finish and blend welds to required cosmetic finishes; maintain cleanliness and contamination control.
