Job summary

Honeywell in Columbus, OH seeks a Senior Advanced Test Engineer to design, develop, validate and improve test systems for pressure sensing products, supporting NPI and sustaining engineering. You will report to the Director of Engineering and work at our Columbus, OH location.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in test engineering or sensor development with hands-on work on pressure sensors/MEMS, and proficiency in LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, or C/C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in test engineering or sensor development.
• Hands-on experience with pressure sensors, MEMS, or analog measurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test systems for pressure sensors and MEMS products.
• Create HIL and functional test setups for characterization and production support.
• Develop and maintain test software (LabVIEW, Python, C/C++ or similar).
• Define test strategies across validation, characterization and production.
• Lead sensor characterization: pressure accuracy, hysteresis, repeatability, thermal performance.
• Plan environmental and reliability testing (temperature/pressure cycling, humidity, vibration).
• Work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, quality and supplier teams.
• Analyze data, derive calibration algorithms and compensation models.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for test failures.
• Support transition of test systems to manufacturing and yield improvement.
