Job summary

UF Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider III to deliver direct patient care in a subspecialty outpatient and/or inpatient setting in Florida and/or Georgia. The APP III will work under physician supervision, perform high-complexity procedures, and coordinate care with the care team.

Qualified candidates hold a master's degree in nursing or physician assistant program, with 2 years of outpatient/inpatient experience. Licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of outpatient or inpatient experience.
• Masters Nurse Practitioner – Required or Masters Physician Assistant Program – Required.
• Active Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure at time of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required at time of hire; ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides referrals and coordinates care, educates patients/families.
• Performs or assists with procedures of higher complexity.
• Develops comprehensive health plans with the care team.
• Documents encounters and orders in the EMR.
• May provided education and instruction.
• Travel up to 25%.
