Job summary

CECO Environmental Corporation in Addison, TX is seeking an Advanced Machining & Assembly Engineer to lead development and optimization of machining and assembly processes across manufacturing operations. You will drive continuous improvement, automation projects, tooling development, and new product introductions to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Engineering and Maintenance to implement world-class manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
8-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in machining and assembly environments.
Experience with CNC machining processes and assembly operations.
Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing documentation.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or AutoCAD.
Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills.
Preferred: robotic automation and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Experience with ERP and MES systems.
Knowledge of PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and SPC.
Experience in heavy industrial equipment, fabricated metal products, rotating equipment, or engineered products manufacturing

Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and optimize machining and assembly processes.
Design and implement manufacturing methods that improve productivity, quality, and safety.
Create standard work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing procedures.
Support new product introductions and production transfers.
Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Engineering and Maintenance to implement world-class practices.
