Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking an Advanced Machining & Assembly Engineer based in Addison, TX. The role focuses on developing and optimizing machining and assembly processes, supporting new product introductions, and driving Continuous Improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Engineering, and Maintenance to implement world-class practices and advanced production technologies, including automation and capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in machining and assembly environments.
• Experience with CNC machining processes and assembly operations.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, tolerance analysis, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD).
• Demonstrated project management and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: robotics automation, Industry 4.0, Six Sigma, ERP/MES, PFMEA/PPAP/SPC.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize machining and assembly processes.
• Design and implement manufacturing methods to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
• Create standard work instructions, process documentation, and procedures.
• Support new product introductions and production transfers.
• Oversee machining and assembly engineering activities, automation projects, and capital improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Product Engineering.
