CHRISTUS Health in San Antonio, TX seeks a Board Certified/Eligible Advanced Gastroenterologist to join a newly launched employed GI group. The role focuses on inpatient GI coverage, consults, and advanced procedures (EUS, ERCP, POEM) with potential outpatient expansion.

Qualifications

• Must possess an unrestricted Texas Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in Texas.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Fellowship training in Advanced Gastroenterology (EUS/ERCP capabilities).

Responsibilities

• Inpatient GI coverage, consults, and advanced procedures (EUS, ERCP, POEM) with future expansion into outpatient volume.
• 7-on / 7-off inpatient schedule with 182 guaranteed shifts per year (No call required).
• Collaborate with dedicated APPs, GI lab staff, and surgical teams to support a growing GI service line.
