Allen Media Digital, the technology and engineering division of Allen Media Group, is seeking a Senior AdTech Engineer to advance our ad infrastructure across The Weather Channel App and Local Now. You will lead end-to-end adtech feature initiatives, optimize ad-serving performance, and guide platform-wide modernization efforts in a high-volume U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in backend / distributed-systems engineering, with at least 3–4 years in ad tech (RTB, programmatic, SSAI).
• CTV ad-serving environments and native TV platforms (Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, Smart TVs) experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the adtech feature re-implementation during the full app redesign.
• Design, build, and maintain custom code across the ad-tech stack (backend services, data pipelines, ad-decisioning).
• Lead integration and management of DSPs and SSPs.
• Design and optimize SSAI workflows (AWS MediaTailor) and coordinate CSAI on core platforms.
• Configure and troubleshoot ad-decisioning endpoints using VAST, VMAP, SCTE-35.
