Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Senior Operator to build and scale Monetization Trust & Safety Operations. You will own critical Ads T&S workstreams, turning ambiguous priorities into durable operating models with Product, Policy, Engineering, Legal, and GTM partners.

The role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, defining scope, milestones, and workflows, while driving data-informed decisions to balance user safety, advertiser experience, and business growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in program management, strategy or operations in relevant fields.
• Deep familiarity with ads ecosystems or high-stakes scaled operations.
• Ability to translate complex cross-functional work from framing to launch and scaled operation.

Responsibilities

• Own complex Ads Trust & Safety programs from framing to launch and scale.
• Define scope, milestones, risks, and execution cadence for strategic operational builds.
• Translate policy, risk, technical, legal, and operational constraints into workflows, requirements, playbooks, escalation paths, and decision structures.
• Coordinate across Product, Policy, Engineering, Legal, Go To Market, Support, vendors, and other partners to resolve dependencies and keep critical work moving.
• Move flexibly across priorities—standing up new programs, improving existing workflows, strengthening handoffs, and transitioning durable ownership to the right teams.
• Use operational data and frontline signals to identify bottlenecks, quality gaps, capacity needs, ownership failures, and the highest-leverage interventions.
• Drive high-priority escalations and cross-functional decisions to closure with clear context, accountable owners, next steps, and durable follow-through.
• Create program mechanisms that make operations run well, including roadmaps, decision logs, status updates, risk registers, operating reviews, and executive communication.
• Identify where AI tools, automation, lightweight systems, or simpler workflows can improve speed, consistency, and scale while preserving appropriate human judgment.
