Job summary

Merrimack College seeks an energetic Assistant Director/Senior Assistant Director of Admission to drive undergraduate enrollment through strategic recruitment and data-informed outreach. The role acts as a primary ambassador, guiding prospective students and families through the admissions process and supporting enrollment goals.

The position reports to the Associate Director and involves travel, on-campus engagement, and collaboration with campus partners to advance Merrimack’s mission.

Qualifications

• Need strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a data-informed recruitment strategy for an assigned geographic territory.
• Meet or exceed enrollment goals including applications, admits, and deposits.
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust outreach strategies to optimize results.
• Build relationships with prospective students, families, counselors, and community partners.
• Represent the College at high schools, college fairs, and recruitment events (8-12 weeks travel annually).
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff; lead key projects within the admission office.
