Job summary

TDS Telecom is seeking a Senior Administrator-Brand Activation & Engagement to support local marketing initiatives, events, and partnerships across southern Idaho and Oregon. This role strengthens the brand while driving consumer opportunities for TDS products.

You will coordinate community events, identify opportunities, and collaborate with partners and leaders to deliver effective marketing programs that enhance local visibility and sales potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) OR 4+ years professional work experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• 2+ years marketing, community outreach, or event planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Research local event and sponsorship opportunities and provide recommendations on participation.
• Coordinate event activities: registration, volunteers, execution, and results.
• Provide local support for marketing strategies including demos, open houses, and community events.
• Develop partnerships with MDU owners, HOA, real estate agents or developers for marketing programs.
• Build relationships with Chambers of Commerce and local business leaders.
• Administer local sales initiatives and targeted community activities.
• Monitor competitive threats and provide market data to product teams.
• Assist with construction and land development agreements as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Senior Administrator-Brand Activation & Engagement

The Senior Administrator-Brand Activation & Engagement is responsible for administering and supporting the initiatives developed by Brand Activation and Engagement. The Sr Administrator-Brand Activation & Engagement will support consumer initiatives through local marketing activities and community development efforts within assigned markets or marketing function. The Administrator takes guidance from the Manager and identifies and coordinates community involvement activities, events or sponsorships that develop and maintain TDS's brand while also generating sales opportunities for consumer products. This role is responsible for monitoring new development and working with the Manager to implement initiatives designed to build local community partnerships including but not limited to multiple dwelling unit (MDU) properties, developers/realtors, partnership organizations and other association-based entities. This position is responsible for identifying public relations opportunities and competitive threats in the communities supported.

The Senior Administrator-Brand Activation & Engagement must reside in southern Idaho or Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Local Market Support
  • Research local event and sponsorship opportunities and provide recommendations on participation. Coordinates all event activities such as registration, recruiting volunteers, event management, and documenting results.
  • Serve as local market advocate on issues related to products, services, and operational performance, and shares with Manager.
  • Provide local support for marketing strategies including customer demonstration events, open houses, customer appreciation and other public events.
  • Implement programs developed by Manager to build relationships for partnerships with MDU owners and/or property managers; develop business relationships with Homeowners' Associations and real estate agents or developers for marketing agreements and/or specialized marketing programs.
  • Develop contacts/relationships with local Chambers of Commerce, town administrators and other community business groups and leaders.
  • Administer the local, tactical, and targeted sales initiatives developed by Commercial Marketing (sales blitzes, group demonstrations, campaign support, referral generation, targeted prospecting, and local activities).
• Product Support and Competitive Information
  • Monitor and identify competitive threats and opportunities.
  • Collect competitive data and funnel to consumer and commercial product management/development support teams. Provide competitor offering/pricing and supply comparisons to TDS products and services.
  • Assist Manager with Aid to Construction (ATC) and Land Development Agreements (LDA) as requested.
• Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• 2+ years marketing, marketing, community outreach, or event planning experience.

Other Qualifications

• Ability to travel 5-35% of the time in the assigned territory.
• Ability to coordinate and execute successful events.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Experienced in building strong working relationships.
• Strong communication skills.
• Background and/or working knowledge in customer service, marketing, management and/or sales.
