The International Monetary Fund seeks an Administrative Coordinator to support the First Deputy Managing Director and Advisors. You will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations, manage calendars, and liaise with IMF staff, management offices, the Executive Board, and external parties.
You will back-stop the other coordinator, use discretion with sensitive information, and contribute to efficient workflow by proofreading documents and coordinating high-impact activities.
Work for the IMF. Work for the World. Reporting to the First Deputy Managing Director (FDMD) and his Advisors, and working as a team with the other Administrative Coordinator in the office and with other members of OMD, the selected candidate will perform a wide range of organizational and administrative duties. The chosen candidate will work closely with the FDMD and his Advisors to take the lead in supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operations of the Office, liaising as needed with Fund staff, other Management offices, the Executive Board, member countries, and other external parties. While there will be a division of labor between the two coordinators, both will be expected to be able to perform all the necessary tasks, and to back‑stop each other as needed, and other OMD offices on occasion. Given the sensitive nature of the work in OMD, discretion and diplomatic skills will be essential.
