Job summary

Job description

Your Job Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide administrative, communication, event coordination, and systems support for teams based in Wichita, KS.

This role serves as a key partner to leadership and employees by coordinating office operations, managing communications, supporting business systems and procurement activities, and ensuring meetings and events are executed successfully. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is able to manage multiple priorities while improving processes through technology and automation.

You will support leaders and employees in operational and office environments. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.

What You Will Do

  • Plan and coordinate meetings, town halls, employee events, and other cross-functional activities.
  • Support procurement activities, business systems administration, utility account management, and data management.

  • Provide administrative support for leaders and employees, including scheduling, communications, and office operations.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment, including support for multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10%

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience creating employee communications, digital content, or coordinating large employee events.
  • Experience with procurement, vendor coordination, utility account management, or business system administration.
