Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Associate, Additive Manufacturing Engineer in California to execute metal additive manufacturing operations, including file prep, printing, depowdering, post-processing, and troubleshooting. The role focuses on process development, tooling, fixturing, and manufacturability improvements while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with 2+ years manufacturing experience (or 0–2 years with graduate degree).
Hands-on metal additive manufacturing experience preferred in ISO/AS environments.

Responsibilities

Operate LPBF equipment including file prep, printing, depowdering, post-processing, and cleanup.
Improve process flows, write work instructions, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Analyze data for trends and root causes to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to translate requirements into manufacturable AM processes.
