Job summary

PanOptimization, LLC is seeking a Senior Application Engineer - Additive Manufacturing to work with customers ensuring their success using our software. Located in State College, PA or remote, this role focuses on supporting clients in the application of advanced additive manufacturing techniques and technologies, leading technical discussions and quality assurance for solver development. Candidates should possess a BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field and have experience with additive manufacturing. Infrequent travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Currently authorized to work in the U.S. full-time.
• Infrequent day and overnight travel required, possibly international.
• Ability to interact with customers and end-users effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to ensure success with PanX.
• Lead technical sales discussions.
• Perform pre-release solver testing/QA.

Skills

Experience with Additive Manufacturing

Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis

Programming (Python, Fortran, C, C++)

Education

BS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field

M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
