Job summary
NVIDIA in the United States seeks a Senior Software Systems Engineer for its ADAS Platform team to drive modular software architecture across multiple OEM environments and product lines. You will champion scalable integration, reusable components, and clear interfaces between NVIDIA core and OEM-specific implementations.

Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, CS, or related field (or equivalent).
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Solid background in C and C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of modular software architecture and clean code design.
- Hands-on experience with multithreaded, real-time, or performance-critical systems.
- Familiarity with parallel/distributed systems and low-level profiling.
- Comfortable with Linux, QNX or other embedded RTOS environments.
- Exceptional communication and collaborative attitude.
Responsibilities
- Drive architectural improvements that modularize the software stack.
- Design clean boundaries between NVIDIA core components and OEMs.
- Refactor ADAS components for reuse, extensibility, and maintainability.
- Improve system-level scalability via IPC, middleware, and platform layers.
- Partner with software, systems, and hardware teams to define interfaces.
- Establish test coverage, design reviews, and scalable architecture docs.
- Profile and tune system performance for multi-core real-time environments.
