Job summary

PACCAR Inc. is seeking an ADAS Chief System Owner (CSO) to lead the technical ownership of ADAS ECUs and related software across vehicle programs.

You will work with System Owners, EE Architecture, suppliers, and validation teams to ensure requirements, interfaces, and maturity meet program goals. Ideal candidates will have deep experience with ADAS sensors, ECUs, and software validation, plus strong collaboration skills across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with ADAS sensors, perception systems, ECU functionality, and related diagnostics/validation methods.
• Familiar with the systems V model, agile methods, functional safety/cybersecurity, ASPICE, SOTIF, and integration planning.

Responsibilities

• Own the assigned ADAS ECU/control system, covering hardware, base software, application software, diagnostics, and lifecycle performance.
• Maintain knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and installation constraints for robust ECU design and integration.
• Develop and align ECU-level technical requirements with system-level ADAS features and customer use cases.
• Lead ECU validation through DVP&R planning, HIL, and on-vehicle testing, and defect resolution.
• Communicate development status, risks, validation progress, and release readiness to leadership.
