Job description

Job ID: 10587558 | Amazon.com Services LLC

Amazon Ads is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for advertisers through ad solutions—including sponsored, display, video, and audio ads that leverage Amazon's innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys. With flexible pricing and industry-leading technology, these solutions help advertisers build awareness, increase consideration, and drive conversions. We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including advertising.

By joining our innovative team at ART19 you will help transform the future of podcast advertising. You'll be at the forefront of connecting leading advertisers with an expanding podcast audience, developing strategic partnerships that drive revenue and create unique audio solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company in an emerging media space, in a role with broad scope and the potential to make real impact. If you're interested in joining a rapidly growing team working to build a unique, world-class advertising group with a relentless focus on the customer, you've come to the right place.

Amazon Ads is seeking an Account Executive to join ART19's newly formed Advertising Sales organization. This position will drive net-new business with a prospecting-first mindset, focusing on delivering advertising revenue through strategic partnerships including agencies, and related organizations by helping them leverage Amazon Ads solutions to reach their intended audiences. As the first point of contact with prospective advertisers, you'll research and qualify leads, nurture new client relationships, deliver compelling pitch presentations (internal and external), and drive advertising investment.

Working closely with the Head of Revenue and Amazon Ads team members, you'll help establish Amazon's Podcast Audience Network as a preferred solution for advertisers in Amazon’s suite of audio products. As a critical member of the Revenue Team, you'll use data to make decisions that drive scale, operational efficiency, and customer-driven innovation in a growth environment.

The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in a similar role within a rapidly scaling national sales organization, ideally at a media company, with experience consulting with Fortune 500 advertisers and their agencies. You'll combine your established digital audio background, consultative approach, and deep understanding of the podcasting landscape to serve as a strategic partner driving client success and achieving business goals.

Key job responsibilities
  • Build strategic partnerships with podcast advertisers and agencies to drive network revenue growth
  • Owns key client and agency relationships and builds accounts by establishing trust and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work
  • Continually develop quality and quantity of opportunities needed to achieve revenue KPI's, providing regular pipeline activity/updates
  • Manages client projects from beginning to end and works with internal teams on timelines, internal and external communication, resources, and deliverables; delivers project timelines to clients and proactively keeps documentation and project management software updated
  • Cultivates and seeks new opportunities within current clients and agencies; prospects new clients and assists in the creation and delivery of pitches
  • Generate net-new advertising revenue through strategic selling to agencies and clients.
  • Be a true hunter, hungry to uncover opportunity and connect it with a value adding solution.
  • Develop consultative joint business plans. Thoughtfully respond to RFPs with effective solutions and tailored recommendations.
  • Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to identify new business and revenue opportunities for Amazon Ads.
  • Anticipate and identify advertising customer needs. Align with internal stakeholders to overcome roadblocks and deliver bar-raising solutions.
  • Provide superior customer service while maintaining compliance with advertising policies.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful campaign set up, optimization, reporting and execution (e.g. SGTM, MET, LCS).
A day in the life

Your day will be dynamic and collaborative, working closely with the Head of Revenue and enablement teams to craft personalized strategies for podcast advertising partnerships. You'll dive deep into understanding partner challenges, translate complex technical concepts, and develop creative solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes. Working directly with both advertisers and internal teams, you'll help identify business opportunities and create customized solutions that deliver measurable results. This role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on partnership development in the rapidly evolving podcast advertising space.
