Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in packaging, distribution, non-sterile compounding, and record-keeping of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Serve as liaison between customers and the pharmacist.
• Operate pharmacy computer systems to investigate and respond to missing medication requests.
• Prepare compounded intravenous medications and hazardous drugs following USP 797/800.
• Educate and train fellow technicians and students as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and handle narcotics per policy.
• Ensure age-appropriate care considerations for patient populations.
