Job summary

Milliman's Seattle Health Practice seeks an experienced health actuary with Value Based Payments (VBP) experience in Medicare/Medicaid to join our Seattle team. You will lead projects, build models, and mentor staff while explaining complex concepts to clients.

Required: FSA, 7+ years in healthcare actuarial work (including 4+ years in a consulting role), strong Excel, and knowledge of SAS/SQL/Python/R. You should excel at client collaboration and delivering practical insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field.
• FSA designation.
• 7+ years of healthcare actuarial experience, with at least four (4) years in a consulting or advisory role.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with VBP arrangements.
• Minimum of three (3) years leading Medicare/Medicaid VBP work.
• Experience with current Medicare/Medicaid VBP programs is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python, or R.
• Strong understanding of the US healthcare system.

Responsibilities
