Job summary

Jonus Group is seeking a Senior Actuary for Professional Lines Pricing, blending pricing strategy with profitable growth across D&O, E&O, and EPLI portfolios. Hybrid in Chicagoland/NYC, this role targets an ACAS with FCAS preferred and extensive Commercial Lines pricing background.

The candidate will lead rate indications, develop pricing tools, evaluate new business, and collaborate with underwriting and leadership while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• ACAS required; FCAS preferred.
• 7+ years actuarial experience focused on Commercial Lines Pricing.
• Professional Lines experience highly preferred.
• Strong project leadership and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate actuarial analyses into actionable business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead rate indications, pricing analyses, and portfolio management initiatives
• Develop pricing tools and frameworks to support profitable growth
• Evaluate new business opportunities and emerging product lines
• Partner closely with Underwriting, Claims, and senior business leaders
• Present strategic recommendations and actuarial insights to executive leadership
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives
