Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Lead Actuary – Pharmacy Pricing for a remote role. You will lead complex pricing analyses, rebate guarantee studies, and actuarial models for current and prospective clients, translating findings into actionable recommendations.

Partner with senior leaders, mentor actuarial staff, and stay ahead of market developments while ensuring regulatory and standards compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance or equivalent work experience.
ASA or FSA actuarial designation required.
Eight years actuarial experience, including six in healthcare/PBM, preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead pricing analyses, projections, and actuarial models for pricing and rebates.
Mentor Analysts and junior Actuaries with technical guidance.
Provide pricing guidance on formulary methods and rebate structures.
Present analyses to senior stakeholders and clients with clear recommendations.
Monitor policy, regulatory, and market developments affecting pricing.
Ensure compliance with actuarial standards and applicable regulations.
Collaborate with Underwriting, Clinical, Trade, Legal, and Sales teams.
Lead cross-functional workstreams and manage multiple priorities.
Deliver ad hoc data analyses on rebate performance and market events.
Review and refine pricing methodologies based on market research.
