Job summary

Bruce & Bruce Company, a leading actuarial consulting firm, seeks a Senior Actuary – FIA Product Development & Pricing to shape innovative annuity solutions and lead client-facing initiatives. You will own pricing strategies, develop projection models, and guide filings and governance in a growth-oriented environment.

With 10+ years in life insurance or annuities and strong FIA expertise, you will partner with Product, Compliance, and Legal teams while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or related field.
• FSA preferred; experienced ASA candidates with strong FIA pricing leadership will be considered.
• 10+ years actuarial experience in life insurance or annuities, including pricing, product, or valuation leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy and profitability analysis for FIA products and pricing initiatives.
• Own pricing and projection models for product design, valuation, and business decisions.
• Deliver insights on product performance, policyholder behavior, lapses, and crediting strategies.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Legal to support filings, governance, and speed to market.
• Partner with investment and hedging teams on budgets, asset strategy, and risk mitigation.
• Lead scenario testing and capital impact analyses under changing market conditions.
• Support reserve calculations and financial reporting under statutory, GAAP, and LDTI frameworks.
• Contribute to reinsurance strategy and capital efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor market and regulatory developments to inform product strategy.
