Job summary

Talon Professional Services seeks a Senior Commercial Liability Actuary in New Jersey to advance CGL and excess/umbrella products. You will collaborate with actuarial, underwriting and product teams to deliver data-driven insights and support filings.

Ideal candidates hold ACAS/FCAS (or near) with 5+ years in commercial lines actuarial work, and strong programming skills in Python, SQL or R for pricing and analytics.

Qualifications

Commercial Liability Actuary (ACAS/FCAS Preferred)

My client is a leading P&C insurance organization focused on advancing commercial liability products, and is looking to hire a Senior-level Actuary to join their Property and Casualty team. This role partners across actuarial, underwriting, and product teams to enhance Commercial General Liability and Excess/Umbrella offerings, deliver data-driven insights, support regulatory filings, and serve as a trusted subject matter expert for clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• ACAS, FCAS, or near-ACAS designation
• 5+ years of commercial lines actuarial experience
• Strong background in product development, pricing, or analytics
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives
