Porch Group is seeking an Actuarial Specialist to lead complex pricing initiatives for homeowners insurance. You will oversee advanced modeling, regulatory filings, and strategic pricing projects while mentoring analysts and ensuring compliance with professional standards.

In this role, you will advance pricing strategies, develop predictive models, and support the financial stability of the company. You will collaborate with Product, Data Science, Underwriting, Sales, and Claims while

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Associate designation or near-associate completion from CAS/IFOA/IAI strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and maintenance of pricing models and indication frameworks.
• Design and implement advanced pricing models and segmentation strategies.
• Direct preparation of countrywide rating algorithm initiatives; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Establish documentation and governance standards for pricing models.
• Mentor and coach actuarial analysts; review work for accuracy and completeness.
• Drive investigations into segmentation enhancements and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
• Implement innovative analytical tools to elevate analytic capabilities and speed to results.
• Collaborate with Product, Reserving, Data Science, Underwriting, Sales, and Claims.
• Maintain progress toward actuarial credentials through ongoing exam completion.
