Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises seeks a Senior Actuarial Predictive Modeler to develop pricing segmentation and lifetime value models, applying actuarial theory with advanced statistics and ML techniques. You will work with loss cost, acquisition, retention, and conversion models to inform pricing decisions and rate filings.

The role emphasizes end-to-end pricing initiatives, governance, and monitoring, collaborating with Actuarial, Product, Underwriting, and IT teams to deliver defensible pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial, statistics, or data science field required.
• 4-6 years experience building and deploying predictive models in insurance.
• 4-6 years actuarial experience preferred.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Strong Python skills preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional groups.
• Associate of Casualty Actuarial Society preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain predictive models using proper techniques and methodologies.
• Lead communication of project results to business partners in ways they can understand.
• Ensure all projects have proper documentation taking into account potential regulatory, legal, or business concerns.
• Actively work on personal development, including enhancing modeling prowess.
• Lead and mentor team members to ensure progress with development, training, and career pathing.
