The role combines hands‑on actuarial modeling with valuation of physically delivered forwards and related contracts, leveraging Python and SQL for governance and decision support. Significant cross‑functional collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Hold an active professional actuarial credential (ACAS, FCAS, ASA, FSA, or recognized international actuarial equivalent).
• 8+ years of relevant experience spanning actuarial modeling, enterprise or asset risk, physical‑market contract economics, and quantitative decision support.
• Strong hands‑on Python and SQL proficiency; ability to design models, inspect model code, and explain methods.

Responsibilities

• Insurance claims and exposure modeling with calibrated distributions and forecastability.
• Inventory valuation, depreciation, and risk assessments for mobile-device inventory.
• Physical contract valuation and risk transfer for forward purchases/sales and offtake agreements.
• Inventory portfolio optimization across buy/hold/repair/transfer/sell/hedge decisions.
• Technical modeling and governance: write reproducible Python/SQL models and document lineage.
