Job summary

KKR is hiring for a position in Boston focused on supporting the valuation and financial reporting of variable annuities. The candidate will work on US Statutory and GAAP reserves, collaborate with various teams, and assist in delivering key financial reports.

Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor’s degree and 0 to 3 years of experience in the life insurance industry. The salary range is between $70,000 and $90,000, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or equivalent.
• 2+ SOA Exams passed.
• 0 to 3 years of actuarial experience in the life insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and explain US Statutory, Tax, US GAAP reserves, and other actuarial balances.
• Support the analysis of reserve movements for Statutory and GAAP balances.
• Work on process improvements and changes to reserving methodologies.
• Deliver annual and quarterly US GAAP and Statutory reporting.
• Coordinate with the Modeling team on updates and changes.
