UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Director of Actuarial Consulting within Optum Advisory and Implementations to lead actuarial teams serving Medicare, Medicaid, and Dual-Eligible populations. The role emphasizes client relationships, strategic delivery, and cross-functional collaboration across Optum and United Healthcare.

You will work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with a requirement to be in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area office four days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• ASA or FSA designation.
• 13+ years actuarial experience in healthcare.
• 7+ years managing teams.
• 5+ years in actuarial consulting.
• 5+ years in Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug health care industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and quality delivery of existing client relationships.
• Develop new client relationships and business opportunities.
• Provide guidance and leadership to actuarial staff to drive GPA practice growth.
• Coordinate with multiple Optum and United Healthcare teams to deliver services.
• Establish and maintain relationships with payer clients and execute projects around Actuarial products/services.
