Job summary

Voya Financial is seeking an experienced Actuarial Associate to lead complex actuarial research, design methodologies and own profitability, reserve and valuation models. This is a 100% telecommuting position.

You will work with Product, Modeling and Assumption teams to prepare and validate memorandums for regulators, and present results to senior actuaries, claims and regulators. Requires a Bachelor’s in Actuarial Science or related field, three actuarial exams, and strong Python, SQL and SAS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related field, plus three years of relevant experience.
• Must have passed at least 3 Actuarial Exams.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, SAS; advanced Excel/VBA; Access, Oracle Essbase, and actuarial software.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial research, design methodologies and model reviews.
• Develop and own profitability, reserve and valuation models and processes.
• Prepare and validate actuarial memorandums and regulator files.
• Collaborate with Product, Modeling and Assumption teams.
• Present results to senior actuaries, claims and regulators.
