Job summary

Federated Insurance seeks a Senior Actuarial Assistant to enhance pricing methods and support large account pricing decisions. You will work with underwriting and marketing to analyze trends and present recommendations for complex commercial accounts from our Mankato, MN office.

Minimum qualifications include a four-year degree (Math or related), 3+ years actuarial experience, five exams, and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree, preferably in Math or related subject.
• 3+ years of actuarial experience.
• Successful completion of five actuarial exams.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support actuarial methods to measure operating results and pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with underwriting and marketing partners on analyses.
• Create and present pricing recommendations for large, complex commercial accounts.
