Job summary

Federated Insurance is seeking a Senior Actuarial Assistant to support our Property & Casualty operations in the Mankato, MN office. You will enhance pricing methods and work with underwriting and marketing to develop recommendations for large, complex accounts, including large deductible and alternative risk programs.

The role requires strong math, actuarial exam progress, and advanced Excel skills, with collaboration across teams to present pricing analyses and actuarial judgments.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree, preferably in Math or related subject.
• 3+ years of actuarial experience.
• Successful completion of five actuarial exams.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities
