Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join the Medical Economics Enablement team. This role applies actuarial expertise and advanced analytics to transform healthcare data into insights that improve affordability and support strategic decisions.

You will develop scalable analytic solutions, identify cost drivers, and deliver data-driven recommendations across enterprise priorities. Strong actuarial knowledge and proficiency in data analysis, programming, and healthcare analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree required.
• 4+ years of actuarial experience.
• Completion of 5+ ASA exams or equivalent.
• In lieu of minimum exams, related experience may be considered.
• In lieu of minimum experience, ASA or more exams may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develops reporting structure and analytic strategy for pricing and programs.
• Supports rating process by building actuarial model enhancements.
• Distributes reports and analyzes trends and anomalies.
• Develops BI content (reports, dashboards, scorecards) through full development life-cycle.
• Share knowledge of enterprise data content and BI tools with business areas.
• Plans and contributes to moderately/highly complex projects.
• Participates in Actuarial Development Program.
