Job summary

Texicare is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst or Associate Actuary to evaluate healthcare and financial performance, support pricing, reserving, forecasting, and financial planning. You will develop actuarial models, analyze complex data, and present insights to leadership across Finance, Product, and Clinical teams.

The role offers progression, collaboration with multiple departments, and opportunities to drive pricing and risk-adjustment decisions in a flexible, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum of two years actuarial experience.
• SOA exams completed or in progress (4+).
• Experience in health insurance, managed care, or related setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex actuarial analyses across pricing, reserving, forecasting, provider reimbursement, product development, risk adjustment, and financial planning.
• Develop and validate actuarial models and projections using claims data and cost trends.
• Translate findings into actionable insights for stakeholders across Finance, Product, Clinical, and Compliance.
• Communicate methodologies and implications clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Improve modeling approaches, tooling, and processes for accuracy and efficiency.
