The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is seeking an Assistant Director of Activities to support the Activity Program, ensuring that residents' diverse needs are met through engaging activities.

This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating various activities, as well as overseeing volunteers. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and experience in a similar environment, alongside strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in a long-term care activity program setting.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Physical ability to lift loads in excess of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in organizing and implementing the Activity Program.
• Lead evening and weekend functions.
• Recruit and evaluate facility volunteers.
