Job summary

Arvum Senior Living in Carroll, IA is seeking an Activities & Events Coordinator to develop and oversee resident activities, plan programs that provide physical, intellectual, social and emotional opportunities, and coordinate events from setup to breakdown.

The role requires associate degree in related field, 1–3 years in assisted living/memory care, strong communication and computer skills, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred in related field.
• One to three years experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.
• Proficient verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Computer skills including Word and Excel; strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and oversight of resident activities.
• Plan, schedule and conduct programs offering physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities.
• Attend community functions and help coordinate events from start to finish.
• Prepare and organize a calendar of events.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and every other weekend.
