Arbor Hills Nursing & Rehab in Ferguson, MO seeks a dedicated Activities Supervisor to lead the resident activity program and organize engaging events. You will plan monthly calendars, coordinate volunteers, and partner with local groups to enhance social opportunities for residents.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a passion for elder care, with CPR/CAPE certifications and a valid driver's license. Expect weekends/holidays as needed and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional directs the activities program per state requirements.
• Two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last five years, healthcare setting preferred.
• Current CPR and CAPE certifications.
• Must have a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Develop monthly calendar of activities; schedule, preplan and implement.
• Photograph and submit activity results for media pages.
• Plan and organize special activities, including marketing events.
• Cultivate relationships with referral sources for sponsorships and donations.
• Coordinate volunteers from organizations to work with residents.
• Prepare special snacks with residents.
• Set up dining room tables for activities.
• Clean up after activities and complete logs and reports.
