Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking a seasoned acquisition professional to support the US Space Force COMSATCOM Office. You will help shape acquisition strategies, coordinate with technical teams, and translate complex needs into actionable procurement plans for a rapidly evolving space domain.

The role requires 8+ years in federal acquisition, a current Secret clearance, and strong MS Office proficiency. On-site work in the National Capital Region is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Federal or Department of War acquisition experience, pre- and post-award.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Knowledge of FAR-based acquisition planning and Subpart 7.1.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advise HQ USSF leadership and COMSATCOM stakeholders on acquisition strategies.
• Liaise between the HQ USSF contracting office and mission users for requirements.
• Lead or support development of acquisition plans with milestones and source selection.
• Coordinate with systems engineers to ensure feasible, aligned requirements.
• Draft acquisition documents and support packages for review.
• Prepare clear communications and briefings for stakeholders.
