KBR, a leading provider of science, technology and engineering solutions, seeks an Acquisition Logistics Subject-Matter Expert (SME) to deliver senior lifecycle logistics and sustainment planning support to a U.S. Government program office.

The role focuses on integrating logistics across planning, engineering, testing, production and fielding to ensure steady, cost-effective fielding and long-term readiness.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Extensive experience in acquisition logistics, lifecycle logistics, integrated product support, sustainment, or supply-chain management in defense or similar complex environments.
• Experience supporting major defense acquisition, rapid acquisition, aerospace, missile, or air-defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior acquisition logistics and product-support advisor for a rapid acquisition program fielding next-generation ground-launched counter-air capabilities.
• Provide lifecycle logistics expertise to support program planning, acquisition strategy, systems engineering, test and evaluation, production, fielding, sustainment, modernization, and disposal activities.
• Develop, update, and support execution of lifecycle sustainment plans, product-support strategies, acquisition logistics plans, and related documentation.
• Integrate supportability, maintainability, reliability, availability, supply support, technical-data, support-equipment, training, transportation, and maintenance requirements into program planning and baselines.
• Coordinate logistics planning with Government program managers, engineers, test organizations, contracting personnel, financial managers, production organizations, sustainment stakeholders, and users.
• Identify logistics risks and mitigation options; develop options for government consideration.
• Support logistics planning and execution for developmental testing, operational testing, production readiness, fielding, and post-fielding sustainment assessments.
• Author and review technical and programmatic documentation for lifecycle logistics implications.
• Support development and tracking of logistics metrics, readiness measures, and sustainment performance objectives.
